Young Justice: Apocalypse is the third season of the animated television series loosely based on the DC comic book of the same name. The season picks up six months after the last episode of season two, "Endgame".


Picking up six months after "Endgame", the Team now has a new threat on their hands when Vandal Savage and Darkseid's plans are put into motion.

July 5: After gathering on Apokalips, Vandal Savage, G. Gordon Godfrey and Darkseid converse the next step of their plan which has already been put in motion. Meanwhile Desaad and members of the Intergang arrive on earth in possession of a stasis pod, and are greeted by Lex Luthor, Queen Bee and Ra's al Ghul.

January 6: Bumblebee, Guardian, Kid Flash, & Tigress are investigating a LexCorp facility following the release of the company's new Buzz drink, which the heroes believe to be containing Reach drink properties. The Team soon uncovers that the Buzz drink is a distraction to conceal the company's mass production of Apokaliptian technology. Meanwhile Nightwing, Batgirl and Superboy are in Moscow attempting to prevent Major Force from kick-starting World War lll by eliminating a Russian ambassador in the name of Lex Luthor. Back at LexCorp a boom tube opens and the heroes are cornered by Granny Goodness and a hoard of Parademons resulting in a battle out of which the heroes barely escape. On the Watchtower, Aqualad, Nightwing and Robin meet with the rest of the Team and the Justice League, and debrief on their missions with Nightwing stating that Major Force has been returned to his cell at Belle Reve. At the same time Granny Goodness meets with Luthor who states that their plan is finally taking shape.

January 7: Aqualad, Nightwing, Batman and the League's liaison Steve Trevor come together to discuss the issue of Vandal Savage's disappearance with Batman stating that Savage was last seen six months ago leaving Rimbor in possession of the Warworld. The meeting ends with a decision to investigate the remaining members of the Light in hopes of retrieving information on Savage's whereabouts.

January 9: Mal and Karen gather their friends and family to announce their engagement.

January 10: After arriving on Infinity Island, the headquarters of the League of Shadows, Blue Beetle, Wonder Girl, Superboy and Guardian split up to investigate the facility. Meanwhile Nightwing and Steve attempt to use the Apokaliptian technology as solid evidence against Luthor and his involvement with the Light, but find that the tech has already been relocated. After discovering a boom tube, Guardian and Wonder Girl who are soon joined by Blue Beetle and Superboy are confronted by Talia al Ghul and agents of the league, and a battle takes place. The violence ends after Ra's al Ghul arrives at the scene and opens the boom tube which pulls the heroes through. Aqualad expresses his concerns about the four heroes not reporting on their mission to the Justice League. The four heroes then find themselves on Apokalips.</p>

January 11: The Team and the League are now aware that Blue Beetle, Wonder Girl, Superboy and Guardian have been abducted. Superman and Batman agree that the Light has declared war. Meanwhile Artemis and M'gann try to comfort Karen following the news that Mal has disappeared.

January 18: The Team are dealing with Titano who is wreaking havoc on the streets of Metropolis and following a long battle, Aqualad and Tigress succeed in subduing the giant. On the Watchtower, Batman and Captain Atom inform the Team that the helmet of Fate has been stolen, and Kaldur realizes that Titano's attack was a diversion. With the help of Zatanna and Zatara, the Team track the helmet to Santa Prisca where they witness Metallo who is revealed to be the culprit, delivering the helmet to Lex Luthor, Ra's al Ghul and Queen Bee, and this leads to a battle over it's possession. During the battle Klarion the Witch Boy arrives through a portal and uses a spell to knock the heroes unconscious. Once the heroes come around they realize that the Light have escaped with the Helmet Of Fate.

January 24: The crime boss Warren White is released from Blackgate Penitentiary.

January 25: After learning that White, the man who killed Roy's father has been released from prison, Roy requests Virgil's help in taking his vengeance against White. Arsenal and Static attempt to eliminate the mobster by crashing his car, but White survives and escapes. Later that night Arsenal and Static are attacked by the assassin Deadshot who has been hired by White to takeout the heroes. The two barely escape Deadshot and track White to a safehouse where they are once again confronted by Deadshot and White's men. After Static is injured during the crossfire, Arsenal decides to put aside his vendetta and instead save his friend.

January 26: Aqualad meets with Virgil who is recovering from his injuries in a hospital. Virgil explains what Roy did for him, and Aqualad decides to meet with Roy to induct him back into the Team.
