    • Sudowoodo (Usokkie): The Imitation Pokemon and the final evolution of Bonsly. As a Bonsly, it was a rather young Pokemon that had been known to be a crybaby. Due to its young nature, Brock looked after it like it was a baby. However behind this crybaby exterior was a tough Pokemon that Brock once used in a Pokemon Contest. It later evolved into Sudowoodo while escaping from Team Rocket. Having shed its child like persona, Sudowoodo has become a powerhouse of Brock's team with powerful attacks including Fake Tears, Double-Edge, Flail, Mimic and Hammer Arm. Has the Rock Head ability.
    • Croagunk (Gureggru): The Toxic Mouth Pokemon. Croagunk is a rather stubborn Pokemon. She is surprisingly strong and has managed to throw Brock up in the air with ease. She had incredible strength and was able to take down and even pick up many of its foe, despite her size. She evolved into Chansey on the boat to Twinleaf Town while trying to help a Pichu. Moves she knows Pound, Secret Power and Softboiled.

Marill has super-sensitive hearing and is used on many occasions to find certain peope or Pokemon. Marill has mated with another Pokemon and produced an Azurill that Tracey gave to Misty. Moves it knows is Water Gun.
    • Scyther (Strike): The Mantis Pokemon. When Tracey encountered Scyther, it was severly injured after being kicked out from its swarm by being defeated by another Scyther who became the leader of the swarm. Tracey helped Scyther regain its strength so that it could challenge the new leader and get back its position. However instead it just defended the swarm and decided to join Tracey. Scyther is the main Pokemon that Tracey uses to battle, with attacks including Swords Dance, Double Team, Slash, Skull Bash, Quick Attack and Cut. However since it is fairly old, if it's in the battle for too long, it does start to get tired.

    • Blaziken (Bursyamo): The Blaze Pokemon and the final evolution of Torchic. May's starter and most powerful Pokemon, got it as Torchic. Torchic was relatively inexperienced and wasn't fond of battling. However soon after May learned about contests and got her Beautifly, Torchic started to be neglected and was focused on improving itself and gaining May's attention again. It managed to do so when it evolved into Combusken and made May realize that it was a good Pokemon choice for Contests. However it originally started out being a fairly agressive Pokemon but May started focusing some training on Combusken and it eventually became a calm, yet vital part of May's team and has partaken in many Contests and Festivals and managed to win on many occassions. After evolving into Blaziken while battling Team Rocket, it is the major powerhouse of May's team. With many powerful fire attacks and fighting attacks including Peck, Ember, Quick Attack, Fire Spin, Sky Uppercut, Mega Kick, Flamethrower, Overheat and Blaze Kick, May will continue to rely on Blaziken for many of her contest battles and as a general powerhouse. After learning about Pokemon Contests from another coordinator, May had her heart set on catching a Beautifly. Not long after that she found a Wurmple which she quickly battled and captured. However her Wurmple was extremely energetix and greedy, known to eat everyone's food incredibly fast. Soon after, it evolved into Silcoon. While Silcoon was not properly used in battles, May did utilize its String Shot to overcome obstacles in her way. After a face off with Jessie's Cascoon, Silcoon evolved into a beautiful Beautifly, and became what May had hoped it would become; A beautiful Pokemon that's perfect for the appeals in Pokemon Contests. Through this, May focused more on Beautifly for her contest training and used it in many contests ad her first festival. Moves it knows is String Shot, Tackle, Gust, Silver Wind, Morning Sun, Psychic and Aerial Ace.
    • Skitty (Eneco): The Kitten Pokemon. Skitty originally was an accidental capture as it entered the Pokemon itself while playing with it. Soon after meeting May, it decided to join her team. While being a little bit clumsy, Bulbasaur knew a range of attacks that can stun the audience at appeals and attacks that can help it win in battles. She was used in several contests and her first festival. During May's adventures with Ash in the Kanto Battle Frontier, Bulbasaur stayed at Professor Oak's with Ash's Bulbasaur until returning with May to Johto, where she soon evolved into Ivysaur and then into Venusaur. Venusaur is a massive powerhouse in May's team with many strong attacks including Vine Whip, Tackle, Razor Leaf and Petal Dance.
    • Munchlax (Gonbe): The Big Eater Pokemon. When May first encountered Munchlax, it was being accused of eating everyone's PokeBlock. May however believed the innocence of Munchlax and set out to prove it wrong, which she successfully did. Afterwards Munchlax was captured using bait; May's home-made PokeBlock. Munchlax is the only one of May's team that likes the PokeBlock. Munchlax has been known to wander off exploring. In contests however, Munchlax is a Pokemon that can really stand it's ground and is one of May's powerhouses. It has a good number of contests under its belt due to this. Moves it knows are Metronome, Focus Punch, SolarBeam and Tackle.
    • Wartortle (Kameil): The Turtle Pokemon and the evolved form of Squirtle. When May went to Professor Oak's lab, she befriended a baby Squirtle. However the Squirtle did not want to go into his Pokeball and so joined May. Since it was young it was relatively inexperienced, however when he first saw what a Pokemon Contest was, he was captivated and really enjoys partaking in them. Even though it is still young, Squirtle managed to overcome opponents several times its size and has partaken in many contests. Youngest of May's Pokemon, having received it as an Egg from a Breeding Center and it hatched into Eevee. Being a baby, Eevee was quite an energetic and playful Pokemon. However it contests it has been able to hold its own and create dazzling appeals. Eevee soon evolved into Glaceon at Snowpoint City between the time May left Ash and friends and her visit to Sinnoh for the Wallace Cup. Has a variety of powerful attacks such as Shadow Ball, Dig, Tackle, Ice Beam, Iron Tail, Ice Shard, Mirror Coat and Secret Power.

Moves he knows are BubbleBeam, Peck, Bide, Whirlpool and Hydro Pump.
    • Buneary (Mimirol): The Rabbit Pokemon. After having various Buneary attack her during her travels, Dawn came across another Buneary. Second youngest after Cyndaquil, and able to hold its own in battle.
    • Mamoswine (Mammoo): The Twin Tusk Pokemon and the final evolution of Swinub. An ice/ground-type, Mamoswine is currently Dawn's most powerful Pokemon. Dawn first met it as Swinub when in Mr. Backlot's garden. Swinub immediately came and ate all the Poffin that Ash and Dawn had made. Despite this, Dawn decided that Swinub should join her after she saw it defeat Team Rocket with relative ease. As such, Swinub was a very quick and hungry Pokemon. After evolving into Piloswine, it changed personality drastically. With a much stronger range of attacks, Piloswine felt its strength outweigh Dawn's and as such it no longer obeyed her completely. After learning AncientPower, it evolved into Mamoswine and was even more hot-headed and immediately charged at Ash and Co. It had trouble obeying Dawn until she managed to convince it to obey when she took care of it when it was injured. When not in battle, Mamoswine has a habit of sleeping. A major powerhouse of Dawn's team, it knows attacks like Take Down, Ice Shard, Dig, AncientPower and Hidden Power.
    • Cyndaquil (Hinoarashi): The Fire Mouse Pokemon. Youngest of Dawn's Pokemon, a fire-type. After recieving the egg from Lyra in the Johto Festival, it quickly hatched into a Cyndaquil. • Togekiss: The Jubilee Pokemon.
