Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Star Wars Story is an upcoming epic space opera film as the sequel set 15 years after the events of Revenge of the Sith.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Star Wars Story was directed by Lawrence Kasdan, Colin Lloyd Pendergast and James Sharp, produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, James Sharp, Emman Cortez, and with George Lucas as executive producer.

Development

In 2017, Colin Lloyd Pendergast is possibly going to make a Star Wars spin-off film based on the character Obi-Wan Kenobi. Later, George Lucas is accepted to let Colin make his first Star Wars film that it could be set after 15 years from Revenge of the Sith.

Casting

Ewan McGregor was going to reprise his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi, then he confirmed that Colin Lloyd said Ewan was a excellent role much like the late English actor Alec Guinness where he did the role as Ben Kenobi.
