Mickey is an American animated television series, produced by Walt Disney Television Animation (now Disney Television Animation), that starred the Disney character Mickey Mouse. It originally aired from 2004 to 2006 on Toon Disney as part the programming block Jetix, it reran on Disney Channel from 2006 to 2009 and reran on Disney XD from 2009 to 20??.


In Toontown, a location in the vast world of Disneyland, a teenage Mickey Mouse attends his sophomore year at Downtown High. There, he goes to school with his friend Goofy Goof and his middle school frenemy Donald Duck. He also meets Minnie, a girl who Mickey later becomes smitten with, and becomes enemies with school bully Pete. But one day, he and the others are called on by Scrooge McDuck, the richest person in the world, to help solve a decades-old mystery that regards the theft of McDuck's most priceless treasure.

    Mickey Mouse (voiced by Wayne Allwine): Mickey Mouse is the main protagonist of the series. He is a 15-year old mouse who lives in Toontown. He is the son of Melvin and Marsha Mouse, and is the sister of Amelia Mouse. He is a student at Downtown High, though he does not enjoy it due to torment by Pete and his "goons." Mickey is the leader of the team founded by Scrooge McDuck to solve the Velshinberge Mystery. He is adventurous and enjoys being a hero. He is also moral and tries to do what is right for not just him, but everyone. He loves Minnie Mouseton and always wants to protect her from the peril they face. As it is later revealed at the end of the show, he is the Toon and has been designed by Walt Disney to save Disneyland from the forces of the Phantom Blot. He is also the half-brother of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.
  • Donald Duck (voiced by Tony Anselmo): Donald Duck is a 13-year old duck who lives in Toontown. He is the nephew of Scrooge McDuck and of Ludwig Von Drake as well. He starts out as the rival of Mickey Mouse. He is jealous of him and is always trying to prove to others and to himself that he is better than him. Although, later in the series, he and Mickey become very close friends. He is hot-tempered and isn't always moral, but does have a good heart when it comes down to it.. Mickey often has to be his conscience. Donald has feelings for Scooge McDuck's assistant Daisy Quackings and tries to be smoothe around her and impress her, often failing miserably. Although, he does win her in the end. At the end of the series, he inherits McDuck's fortune and shares it with Daisy.
