Justice League: Knights of Rao is an American animated TV series based on DC Comics and a tie-in with the alternate story of Teen Titans Season 2.

Sypnosis

Following his failure to save Ronnie Raymond and numerous people from their catastrophic deaths by the hands of the immortal tyrant Vandal Savage after being framed by Lex Luthor, a guild-ridden Superman has casted himself into self-imposed exile until he regains his sense of confidence. As they search for their missing comrade, Batman and the Justice League continue battling various new threats on Earth under the supervision and support of Clark's wife Lois Lane while also crossing paths with the Blue Lantern Corps. Also, on his absence, Superman's secret prodigy Terra, determined to rehabilitate her mentor's honor, organizes a new team of superheroes known as the Knights of Rao with the objective to expose and humiliate every tyrant in the world, including Lex Luthor, whom they hold responsible for the injustice he caused to not just Superman, but the entire world.

03 The Kids are Alright Following her training with Superman, Terra, having decided that Tyranny is the only true threat on Earth, exacts to form her own team of superheroes. She begins by recruiting Toymaster, who is also determined to rehabilitate Superman's broken honor and is working to keep himself away from the eyes of Amanda Waller and Project Cadmus. At the same time, the Justice League contends with destructive machines built and unleashed by Toyman with Manhunter technology.

04 Blue Hope While Terra looks after and trains Collin Hill, a young boy who has joined the Blue Lantern Corps to overcome the loss of his parents and his brother's disowning of him, Hal Jordan and Carol Ferris work with the Justice League on battling Manhunters attacking Washington D.C. while they try to figure out why their Power Rings keep recharging themselves without the need of their Batteries. Unknown to them, Superman, still determined to forgive himself from his failure, had rejoined ranks with the Blue Lantern Corps and is working hard to show the pure hearted the meaning of Hope. At the same time, Tara's friends Amber Lang and Dionne Stewart work to stop a potential disaster which Appa Ali Apsa and Scar plan to cause for the Guardians and the Green Lantern Corps.

05 The Actor who Cried Alpha-Wolf Terra and Toymaster look after Milo Chaves, a young Mexican actor who was turned into a werewolf-like creature by a mysterious cursed artifact while they gather proofs that Project Cadmus agency is corrupt. Meanwhile, Batman and the Justice League team up with El Diablo and Steve Trevor to defeat the agents of the Kobra organization, who are planning to create the perfect army of super-soldiers using Bane's formulas and Cadmus technology.

07 Metamorphosis While working to expose CIA secretary Tala as a wicked witch, Terra ends up encountering symbiotic organisms which duplicate her powers, dubbing themselves "Element Shadows", and eventually go for a rampage on the facility. Three Element Shadows end up bonding with Ronnie Raymond's daughter Delilah Snow, who, despite able to control the organisms, only joins the rampage when she learns in anger of Project Cadmus' involvement with her father's death by the hands of Vandal Savage as well as with Lex Luthor's corrupt schemes.

08 Mind Games Terra and her team train a group of teenage sportspeople with superhuman abilities they just rescued from Project Cadmus agents. The new group, calling themselves the Royal Guard Patrol, teams up with Batman and his trainees Robin, Batgirl and Red Robin to defeat the Joker and his Royal Flush Gang and works to expose John Lynch, the Cadmus General who attempted to capture them and turn them into weapons and indirectly created the Joker's group.

09 War of Oblivion Big Barda and Mister Miracle request help from the Justice League and the Green Lantern Corps when a destructive war between Apokolips and Warworld issued by Darkseid and Mongul threatens to destroy New Genesis. Meanwhile, Superman's Blue Lantern Corps work to destroy the Apokolipian Gems, artifacts which allow Darkseid to invade Earth and other planets and star systems without the intervention of both the Gods of Olympus and the Guardians of Oa, to put a progressive stop in Darkseid's threats on the universe.

15 Only Humans Shortly after learning of their existence and activity on Earth, Batman works to explore more facts about the Knights of Rao. And it will not be too late for the Dark Knight to figure out that he and the young heroes may share much more in common than he will soon realize. Meanwhile, Terra and her team collaborate with Dex-Starr to expose Klarion the Witch Boy, who plans to turn all house cats into mindless monsters.

17 Lost Star While the Knights of Rao work to defeat the Ultimen and stop their rampage, the Titans request the Justice League's aid to find Starfire, who has left Earth after feeling ashamed of her new appearance. This journey will lead the League to finally find Superman when Starfire also ends up joining the Blue Lantern Corps to overcome shame. Superman and Starfire's help will soon be needed when Lex Luthor is driven insane by Larfleeze's Orange Lantern Ring and Battery and uncontrollably wreaks havoc in the streets.

18 Amazon of My Heart While the Justice League, now rejoined by Superman, works to stop another threat by Brainiac, who is being aided by Maxima to abduct Argo and Kandor, Terra explores Themyscira to learn more about Wonder Woman's history. The young heroine will in turn learn more about her own past when Hippolyta reveals Diana's biggest part of Tara's life.

19 Hostile Crisis Sometime before the creation of the Ultimen, Maxwell Lord had scavenged a forbidden temple and bonded the evil entity known as the Enchantress with Dr. June Moone, whom Lord ordered his agents to imprison in a containment cell for his personal plans. In present day, the Enchantress escapes her cell and, aided by her demonic brother Incubus, she starts wreaking insidious havoc in Midway City as she prepares to wipe out humanity. Both Terra's Knights of Rao and Amanda Waller's Task Force X Squad set out to stop her, but in individual strategies and very different purposes: while the Knights exact to destroy the entity, free Dr. Moone and expose Waller, the Squad, as ordered by Waller, exacts to take over her heart and bring her alive. The Knights are also determined to free Barbara Gordon (who is reluctantly operating in the Squad as Oracle) and Bronze Tiger from their assignment in the Squad and convince their leader Colonel Rick Flag that Waller will not fulfill what she promised.

20 All You Need is Love The Justice League battles against a swarm of alien androids unleashed by Vandal Savage with the Ur-Forge, a powerful device built by the Weaponers of Qward, and stop the Sinestro Corps from using it to wipe out Sector 2814. But when even the Sinestro Corps are unable to control the weapon, Star Sapphire devices a plan to save the day, but she will need help from Lois Lane, Black Canary, Supergirl and Stargirl to do so.

21 War of Light, Part 1: Dawn of the Black Lanterns The Green Lantern Corps battle the Sinestro Corps with the purpose of stopping them from taking over an unknown forgotten planet which Sinestro plans to renew at the image of his Corps. But both sides are threatened along with the whole galaxy when the planet turns out to be the asylum of the Black Lantern Corps, alien zombies equipped with rings of Death led by the insidious Black Hand. A brief truce between Green and Yellow Lanterns is made to overcome the new threat.

22 War of Light, Part 2: Seven Lights in Hand Following Kyle Rayner's apparent sacrifice to stop the Black Lanterns' first attack on the Galaxy. Kyle Rayner, stripped off his ring, but still alive, finds himself bonded with the Light of the White Lantern Corps (empowered by Life) and races against time to reunite with his friends, stop Black Hand and his Corps and save the Universe.

23 Big Twisted Bomb Project Cadmus' scientists attempt to create a new Brainiac using Lex Luthor's mind, Amazo's component and the deceased Victor Zsasz's corpse in hopes of using him to rehabilitate mankind's lost trust in the agency, but their plan backfires when their new creation also adapts to Zsasz's mind and his immeasurable psychic powers to create an energy dome around himself in New Mexico, threatening the entire country. As the Justice League works alongside Terra to escort the citizens away from their incoming doom, Superman works his way to get close to the New Brainiac and stop him before it is too late as Luthor is closer than usual to lose everyone's trust in him. At the same time, Batman's proteges Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin and Red Robin take on a gang of outlaw ninjas trained by the Red Hood in Gotham City.

24 Dark Designs In order to help the Justice League and the Teen Titans stop Kobra from weaponizing metahumans and discover what Vandal Savage plans to do, Terra posses as Slade's apprentice and fakes the heroes' deaths by her hands with Martian Manhunter posing as Slade himself in order to distract Savage while the Leaguers and the Titans move forward. Lex Luthor, determined to clear his name out of the New Brainiac incident, works his way through brute force to apprehend Savage, which will furtherly cost his own reputation.

25 Apokolips No More!, Part 1: Summit Darkseid watches from his home world of Apokolips as the Justice League and Teen Titans battle the remaining experiments of Project Cadmus, which are being manipulated by Granny Goodness and her Furies in going for rampage, as the Knights of Rao battle against the agency's Metahuman Elite, who were sent by Luthor to defend his last active Lexcorp building from being demolished as ordered by the authorities. At the same time, Lex Luthor, now a fully official fugitive to the law in Metropolis, battles against the U.S.A. Military, who want him to surrender for everything he was exposed for, with all which remains from his company.

26 Apokolips No More!, Part 2: Unity As the Justice League and the Teen Titans contend with Darkseid and his Apokolipian forces for one last time, the Knights of Rao, followed by Harbinger, split up in multiple places around the world to destroy the Apokolipian Gems to make sure the Dark Lord never gets to invade Earth without other gods and entities to forbid him again. The young heroes also cooperate with Steve Trevor and his U.S.A. Military in the final battle with Vandal Savage as they prepare to put a deep permanent end on his tyranny once and for all. In the series' climax, Terra and her team fulfill their objective by poisoning Savage with the River Styx serum and leave him to die in his collapsing space vessel while Darkseid, with every last Apokolipian Gem destroyed by the Knights, is banished from Earth with Zeus and Ganthet forbidding him from ever leaving Apokolips. In the epilogue, the Justice League and the Titans celebrate their victory as the Knights of Rao are praised by public as heroes. With her teammates' mission complete and Tyranny vanquished for good, Tara pays one last visit to her father's grave as she complements in tears of joy that Justice is done before she is comforted by Lois, Starfire, Wonder Woman and Supergirl as the Justice Leaguers welcome the Knights to the Watchtower, where they prepare to train.
