Strawberry Basket is an anime based on Strawberry Shortcake’s Berry Bitty Adventures.
Haruno Ichigono is like any teenage girl: oversleeping and always late to school, but one day, she saves a mysterious pink cat, named Custard, from being run over by a car. Custard then tells Haruno and her cousin, Nanako, that they are Strawberry Shortcake and Apple Dumplin, members of the Dessert Time Angels, a group of girls who are tasked with stopping a terrorist group called the Grapes of Wrath that wants to reign the Earth. Along with the other Dessert Time Angels, will Strawberry Shortcake be able to stop the Grapes of Wrath?
