David Bryan Hayter (born February 6, 1969 in Santa Monica, California, USA) is a Canadian-American actor, voice actor and screenwriter. He is well known as the English voice actor for Solid Snake and Big Boss throughout many titles in the Metal Gear video game series in addition to many crossovers with it. His works as a screenwriter include X-Men, Rifters, X2: X-Men United and Watchmen.
