Birds of Prey is a spin-off and fifth installment of The Batman movie series. It is based on the DC comic book on the same name. The film will star Christie Ricci, Jayonna Fabro, Gina Carano, Aryane Steinkopf, Jamie Chung, Adrian Hughes, Steve Nicholson, and Bryan Cranston.
Dinah Drake/Black Canary is fighting the mysterious White Canary. Black Canary manages to escape. Then, Huntress is seen about to get killed by Bruno Mannheim, but Black Canary saves her. Huntress thanks her and they agree that the streets of Gotham have been really terrible lately. They talk to Commisioner James Gordon and he agrees with them. With Batman currently working on finding out more about KGBeast and Catwoman fighting Hush, Gordon asks Black Canary to recruit some female heroes to keep Gotham safe. Black Canary recruits Alaina Williams/Batgirl, who stalks the streets looking for criminals, Catgirl, Catwoman's sidekick, and Zinda Blake/Lady Blackhawk, the only female member of the Blackhawks, Gotham's army unit. Meanwhile, White Canary, Ox, Tiger, Sugar, Spice, and Bruno Manheim's gang join forces in an attempt to overthrow the "Birds of Prey". The Birds of Prey hear about these intentions through Crispus Alen and defeat all of the criminals and send them to jail.

Birds of Prey had mainly negative reviews, but the director thinks that it was a success because it grossed a solid $25 million for a spin-off.
