Beast Girl is an action-adventure comic book series published by DC Comics on April 16, 2007. It is a part of the Nightverse and is based on Norse mythology.

- Beast Girl: A 16-year-old girl from Hel who battles monsters for fun. Her rear name is "krreeahh" which is just a loud screetch.
- Stewart "Stew" Whyte: A human high school student who befriends Beast Girl. He and his friends jokingly refer to themselves as "The Losers".

- Alexander "Alex" Whyte: Stew's father.
- Martha Whyte: Stew's mother.
- Lewis Cutty: One of Stew's best friends who is more or less the leader of The Losers.
- Ulysses "Jug" Thorne: Another of Stew's friends who is very rich and has a strange obsession with yogurt.
- Lacy Roberts: A rather socially awkward girl who often says the wrong thing at the wrong time.
- Hel: The ruler of Hel who Beast Girl sees as a mother figure.
- Odin: The god of wisdom and war whose thirst for knowledge is so great he sold his own eye for information.
- Thor: The god of thunder who wields the hammer mjölnir which is so powerful it would kill a normal man to touch it.
Antagonists[]
- Beast King: Beast Girl's biological father who rules over all other beasts. His sheer power is enough to wipe out skyscrapers.
- Loki: The trickster god who is associated with fire and is blood brothers with Odin. He is known for his murder of Baldr.
- Jörmungandr: One of Thor's many arch enemies who often takes the form of a massive snake.
- Ymir: Born from the fire of Muspelheim and the ice of Niflheim, he is the father of giants and was the first monster to be born into the world.
- The Golden King: An immortal man from the dark ages who leads an army of soldiers and is obsessed with gaining ultimate power.
- Surtr: A being made of fire being the so called “Bringer of Ragnorok”.
- Järnson: The wielder of the sword Slakt which is able to cut the skin of gods and kill the unkillable.
- Mister Mask: A human supervillain who is often just there to be defeated and/or manipulated by other villains.
- Dr. Diane Might: A villainess from WolfBoy who is obsessed with finding immortality, she ends up trying to gain immortality through the gods.
