Back to the Future is a 2016 American comic science fiction film and a reboot of the 1985 film of the same name. It was distributed by Universal Studios, directed by James Gunn and produced by Steven Spielberg. It stars Josh Hutcherson as Marty McFly and Vince Vaughn as Doc Brown.
It is known to politely joke at the 1985 original counterpart's predictions. From facetime (possibly similar to Skype), social media, real 3-D holograms, hoverboards, and the like.
